Our general dentists and specialists have received their training from many of the nation’s prestigious educational and dental institutions. Meet the Dentists
Danielle Bienenfeld Slater, DMD
Dr. Slater graduated Cum Laude graduate from Florida International University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, she then received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Slater has taken many continuing education courses including hard and soft tissue laser training, dental implant restoration, and dental veneers. She is certified in Invisalign, Botox and fillers, and conscious dental sedation including nitrous oxide. Dr. Slater is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Dr. Slater is passionate about general comprehensive dentistry. She believes that each patient’s dental experience should be positive, informative, and every dental visit should address the patient’s goals in full.
Dr. Slater is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society and the Merrimack Valley District Dental Society.
Dr. Slater resides in the Boston area and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is also involved in her community and her interests include nonfiction books, walking around the Charles River, and leading a healthy lifestyle.
Courtney Brady, DMD
Dr. Courtney Brady is a native of Massachusetts growing up on Cape Cod and earning her higher education in Boston. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Northeastern University and went on to attended Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Following graduation, she attended The University of Florida’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. During her residency, Dr. Brady completed over 300 hours of continuing education in implant dentistry, periodontal surgery, TMD therapy, oral surgery, endodontics, and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Brady enjoys treating patients of all ages. She has a special interest in TMJ dysfunction. Her friendly and compassionate approach to patient care ensures one feels comfortable and included in treatment decisions. Dr. Brady is committed to providing excellent care in a warm and welcoming environment.
Dr. Brady was selected as one of the Massachusetts Dental Society’s “Ten Under 10” award recipients for 2016. The “Ten under 10” award is presented to dentists who have practiced for less than a decade and have already made a significant contribution to their profession, their community, and/or organized dentistry.

Inna Burnett, DMD
Dr. Inna Burnett grew up in Newton, Ma and graduated from Brandeis University with a degree in Chemistry with a specialization in chemical biology. She then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Burnett is a general dentist with a passion for facial esthetics and is a certified provider for Botox / dermal fillers as well as Invisalign. She is a current member of Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society. She is fluent in English and Russian.
Mario Abdennour, DMD, MMS
Dr. Abdennour received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1989 from the Washington University School of Dental Medicine where he also received the “outstanding clinical ability” award. Following his dental degree, he attended a postgraduate general practice residency at a U.S.C. affiliated hospital in California.
In 2000 he received his specialty certificate in endodontics, as well as a Master in Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from the Advanced Graduate Endodontic Program at Harvard University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Abdennour currently holds a faculty appointment as a clinical instructor at the Advanced Graduate Endodontic Program at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he teaches on a part-time basis micro-surgical and non-surgical endodontics.
During his specialty program he also trained in surgical endodontics at the Karl Franz University Hospital in Austria. Upon graduation from Harvard, he was the class recipient of the Krakow Award for Clinical Proficiency in Endodontics. In addition, Dr. Abdennour has conducted endodontic research at the Forsyth Dental institute in Boston contributing to the patent of a therapeutic endodontic agent. He has also instructed and presented live endodontic surgery at the Endodontic Program of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Abdennour has served as the President and Chairman of two State District Component Dental Societies. Presently, he is the Vice-President of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists.
John Govostes, DMD
Dr. Govostes received his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire and then went to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he received his dental degree (DMD) and then later his specialty training in periodontology. Dr. Govostes is a Board Certified Periodontist.
Dr. Govostes limits his clinical practice to the field of periodontics which focuses on patient education, as well as the preservation of teeth through various non-surgical and surgical therapy modalities in the treatment of gum diseases (periodontitis), as well as implant dentistry and the treatment of other oral pathologic conditions associated with the mouth. The various services offered, but not limited to, include: reduction of gingival pocketing, cosmetic correction of recession and reconstruction with various gum grafting techniques, removal of hopeless teeth, replacement of missing or hopeless teeth with dental implants, as well the augmentation of bone, which is often times needed for future dental implant placement.
Dr. Govostes is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Massachusetts Society of Periodontics, the Massachusetts Dental society, as well as a member of Delta Sigma Delta organization which is an International Dental Fraternity. Dr. Govostes has served the public by working in community dental clinics in Colorado, as well as volunteering for dental missions to Quito, Ecuador where he treated the underprivileged community. He also serves as a guest lecturer at the Yankee Dental Convention in Boston, MA. Dr. Govostes concerns himself with his patient’s comfort, relaxation, and education as well as the quality of care he provides.
Harry Strating, DDS, MScD
Dr. Harry Strating graduated in dentistry from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and received numerous awards, notably for the best student in his class. While practicing as a general dentist, he attended classes part-time and earned an Honors Degree (Residency) in Periodontics. He then relocated to Boston with his family and enrolled in the Prosthodontics specialty program at Boston University. In addition to his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthdontics, he also earned his Masters degree for a research thesis, which is required to be accepted on the specialist register in South Africa. He practiced and lectured for eight years in Pretoria, while continuing his research in implant related bone biology.
In 1987 Dr. Strating accepted an Assistant Professorship at Boston University and moved back to his favorite city and country. He has numerous publications to his credit, and lectures nationally and internationally.
Currently he devotes most of his time to his practice in Beverly and makes time for his hobbies including private flying, waterskiing and jewelry making.
